What are your kids doing for spring break?

Charlie also mentioned in the newsletter another photograph that Christine Keenen Kealy had sent him. The Facebook cool kids have all seen it and she also sent me a copy last year about this same time. We were going to do a more complete post together on the many achievements of her daughter, Courtney Jane Kealy, but more pressing family matters came up for Christine then and we both let it lapse.

I don't have all the details of Courtney Jane's photo-journalist and free lance reporter career,  but I did catch one of her reports from the Middle East last year while listening to a local FM oldie station - what else! - that featured Fox News 2 minute sound bytes on the half hour. Actually, I found Fox News to be completely digestible in small portions like that.

Christine has told me that Courtney is safely back home stateside helping her late brother, Sean's, young family at this critical time in their lives. Please give a thought and your prayers for all of them.

Then and now

I just finished reading Charlie's newsletter and while I do appreciate all the shameless plugs he was making on behalf of the class blog, I was surprised that he mentioned one particular post, that, in reality, had not appeared here. It would be much too confusing to explain how he came to know about its existence.  Let's just say that Charlie is, in addition to all his other fine qualities, clairvoyant.

What I am referring to is our own Class of '62's, hands down, cutest couple. Then:

Christine & Paul - First date, 7th grade

         And now:

There is nothing more to add.
