The genesis for an idea

Here's an experiment which might be a nice adjunct to Charlie's labor of love, the HTHS Class of '62, annual Newsletter.
To anyone who already has a blog, or visits them, they're a great way of having almost real-time discussions, posting pictures, sharing useful info on a variety of things and a place to provide an Internet library of links to your own and other related websites and blogs. Infinite possibilities!

These two pics concern a recent event held just 12 miles north of where I live, at a Calif. State Recreation Area called, Benbow Lake. It's really just a dam in the Eel River that they only start to fill in late June because of spawning fish timetables and temperature concerns. As can be seen the river isn't much to speak of right now - only about 60" of rain which ended early this year as opposed to the 80+" we usually get. It's going to be a long dry summer.
The poster is of the event at which our own, Bernie Worrell, was the main attraction. The last act on a Saturday night is the tip off. More pictures of Bernie are in the preceding post underneath. Anyway, enjoy.
