Every year around this time two events can be counted on: The Daffodils start to bloom and Charlie's Newsletter arrives. Within a few days of posting this we'll be avidly reading about the doings of members of the Class of '62 . I asked Charlie to include the url to this, HTHS1962 blog, in the Newsletter as it has a few pictures down at the bottom I think you might be interested in seeing. So, to those who venture here;
Welcome !
As you will see this blog is still a work in progress. I haven't added to it for some time, but with your help that will change. Think of this as our blog, the Class of 1962. With that in mind feel free to forward anything you'd like to see on it. Pictures are always neat, your own web site or blog links can be attached, info requests, helpful tips, - apart from the stock market, please, - anything at all you'd like to share with the rest of the class.
I am also looking for volunteers who would like to help administer this blogsite. Experience with a blog or website is helpful, but not at all necessary. If I can do it, believe me, you can. The job pays diddly, but the benefits package can be rewarding. Charlie knows all about such things. In fact, no one would even be seeing this if it wasn't for his indefatigable interest in. and dogged pursuit of, us, the Class of '62, in his always enjoyable Newsletter these many, many years.

Some of you may have a special interest that you like to indulge, like photography, globe-hopping, gardening, low fat recipes, or expertise at mastering the intricacies of Medicare, Part D. [ What a bummer!] You could have your own ongoing thread. Surely someone from the Reunion Committee will take advantage of this golden opportunity to keep everyone informed - and interested - about the next reunion . Say, don't we have, not one, but, two Priests in our class? Perhaps they might share their expertise and considerable opinion of - just what the hell is going on here ?!? Just tossing out some ideas. I'm sure you can come up with a few of your own. There is one particular request that I have right now: Does anyone have a picture of HTHS that could be incorporated in the header above? That would really make the top pop.
Any suggestions or comments you have can be made either in the comment box, (just click the word "comments" underneath every post and a window will open up), or, you can send an email to: www.hths1962@ymail.com. That is the email address for this site and it is also affixed at the top right hand corner. You can send your attached photos there. Be sure to bookmark or favorite this page so you can return from time to time to see what's up. There's even a, subscribe to: Post,(Atom) feature at the bottom of this page that will alert you via email when something new has been added, if you'd like that. This is sooo some 21st Century stuff !
BTW, isn't Doris and Tom's granddaughter, Delia, a real cutie in the post below? You, your kids, grand kids, and pets even would look great here too. You just know they would.

You have to enter some name or identity to make a comment.
If you already have a google blog your blog name will automatically show up if you're linking from there.
You don't have to have a google blog to post a comment. Just push the "Name/URL" button below and type in your name on the line that comes up, like I have done on this comment. You don't have to fill in the URL line if you don't want to.
Or;
Just push the "anonymous" button in which case you won't have to fill out anything else. However, don't forget to sign your name at the bottom of your comment so all can know who said what.
Last step: press the "Publish your comment" bar and wait a few seconds for your comment to register. You'll see a green bar at the bottom loading and it will say,"comment posted" when done.

Hi, Mary,
That's a good question. You are already half way there since you have a computer and an email address. If you use your computer to send pictures back and forth with family and friends, it's the same principle here. Simply put, just send your photos to the email address at the above right of this page as you would to your family. That's usually done as an attachment. Don't send them to my personal email address on the class roster as it sometimes doesn't work properly on this end.

If you've never sent photos via email before, I'll try to walk you through that when I email you. Each ISP, or email account carrier, has different procedures.
Thanks for being brave enough to make the first plunge here. I'm sure this blogging thing is a mystery to a lot of us. We'll all learn together. Think of it like being back in Trig class but with niftier slide rulers.
