Frank and Eileen Reitemeyer

Frank Reitemeyer sent in these photos of him and his wife, Eileen, above, at Wrightsville Beach, NC, and a sampling of his second passion, sailing. Frank says that he and Eileen have a wonderfully simplistic system for division of labor: He helps her 3 days with her passion, gardening, and then he gets to spend 2 days working on his 35' C&C Landfall sloop, Spirit. Sounds fair enough.

Home from the sea. Spirit, at the dock. Frank and Eileen enjoy sailing around the Chesapeake Bay, their home base, and have sailed as far north as Long Island Sound, off  Connecticut, and as far south as the Florida Keys. He mentions that that trip was pretty rough and they had to seek shelter in marinas almost all the way until they had better weather in Florida. He also says that if you want to get directions to Spanish named destinations you're better off asking the janitor at the local Chamber of Commerce, because that's what the C of C Information people have to do.

Frank and Eileen have two daughters. Nora, works at NYU as an Event Planner for their German Dept. Kate, and her family, lives in Butler, Pa. and works for Pittsburgh Univ. as a Veterinary Assistant in their Animal Research Dept.
