"Just thought I would drop you a note and say "hi" and tell you about our "Trinity Jersey Girls " pre-union at a restaurant last week. Becky Maher and I had a crazy idea back in August. We thought it would be fun to have a pre-reunion gathering with all the girls who still live in NJ. So we sent out 17 invites.Our plan was to meet at a restaurant in Spring Lake on Monday, November 29."
Twelve Jersey girls attended. Here is the alphabetical list as we knew them, not in their actual order:
Lou Bace, Mary Baker, Diane Colavito, Kathy Helmstetter, Marilyn Herbst, Cathy Keegan, Becky Maher, Cathy Monninger, Nancy Roberts, Ella Mae Weikel, Nancy Whalen, and Sue Will.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: 3/19/ 2012. I have been informed by Lou to tell all of you that the Class of 1962's 50th Reunion is definitively going to be held at the home of Nancy & Willis King, in Spring Lake,on September 15, 2012.
IMPORTANT UPDATE #2: 3/29/2012. Keep checking in on the blog for further developments on our 50th REUNION. For example: Bed and Breakfast accommodations will be put up on 4/2/2012 at the top of all the other posts.

We did have a fabulous time! Many thanks to Lou and Becky for coordinating our luncheon.
It is amazing how much we DO have in common with people we haven't seen in many years, even though we may have changed a bit. I truly enjoyed connecting with the girls that I shared my formative years with.
On behalf of the our Reunion Committee, I would like to extend an invitation to anyone that may have additional ideas for "side events" for our Reunion, and would like to get the ball rolling on it, we would love to hear from you. Your help in making this a great, and memorable Reunion would be greatly appreciated. Let us know your ideas, and your plans for carrying them out. Many thanks.

Yeah, you look great in the photo. Do you recall that your mother and mine discovered that they went to high school together at Battin High in Elizabeth? The two mothers discovered this at a "parents' night" at HTHS, our freshman year.

I thought the mini-reunion photo of the "HTHS New Jersey girls" was marvelous. Whereas all the women look great, I thought that Becky looks like she just stepped out of her yearbook photo.

I am really impressed how great The Jersey Girls look...I haven't seen any of you for 50 years and I could figure out most identities...Diane I would recognize in any lineup...also Nancy and Kathy Monninger...makes me want to StOP dying my hair...no wonder you all want to get together...We already have a rooEm reserved at B&B with Jean and Dick Sinnott...really looking forward to hearing all about highschool...we moved so many times I get my people, places and things mixed up..Greetings to All.
